A.R.M.S. #39 A2 PLUS MOD MOUNT
A2Plus Mount - Developed by A.R.M.S.Ў, Inc. under contract for the U.S. Army/ARMS Laser Combat I.D. (CID) Program. It upgrades A1-A2 M16 weapons to new capabilities that match those of the patented Swan Ў #38 Sleeve; for enhancement of the Army's Red Dot Optic/Laser requirements.
The main body of the A.R.M.S.Ў A2Plus mount locks into both the carry handle channel and the handle front support, utilizing two A.R.M.S.Ў self locking thumbnuts. This capability provides rigid support of the dovetail platform that is extended over the hand-guards; just like the patented SWANЎ Super Extended Sleeve. The A.R.M.S.Ў A2Plus also has a provision to mount a 2nd rail on the carry handle that adds the same look and capabilities as the famous A.R.M.S.ЎM16A1A2 mount, with an enhanced iron and optic see thru capability. This bi-level mounting capability offers multiple combinations of attachments, no tools required. The A2Plus also features a brush breaker at the front to prevent branches and other objects from wedging between the hand-guards and the suspended rail. Optical and laser perfect parallel alignment are achieved, while eliminating heat and vibrations that may be experienced in barrel mounting systems.
